Stimuli that slide below this threshold with consciousness are stimuli which, while not consciously recognized, may influence judgment, attitude, and behavior on a great unconscious level. Subliminal influences have got a similar purpose as hypnosis because they attempt to reach the subconscious to support effect desired change when used in a positive manner.
