The Eric LeGrand, Rutgers player paralyzed video has gone viral after the sad news broke this weekend. Get the full story and watch the video here.

News of Eric LeGrand, the Rutger’s defensive tackle who was paralyzed during the Rutgers VS Army game on Saturday has swept the nation.

It was an intense game – Rutgers had tied the game at 17-17 in the fourth quarter. During a kickoff, LeGrand violently collided with Malcomb Brown, Slot Back for Army.

If you watch the video you can see LeGrand’s head is slightly bent down as it makes contact with Brown’s left shoulder. LeGrand hits the ground and does not move. Medical teams rush the field and he was taken off the field on a stretcher as coach, Greg Schiano tried to comfort Legrand’s mother, who was wearing her son’s #52 jersey, on the sidelines.

Eric went into surgery to stabilize his spine, and in Intensive Care at Hackensack. On Sunday the school announced that Eric was paralyzed from the neck down.

Coach Schiano, who visited his player before and after the surgery, had tears in his eyes as he spoke of Eric’s condition.

“Eric’s spirits were as good as you can expect. He was cognizant of me being there, his mom, everybody. He’s a fighter… As I talked to our team, we’re just going to believe that Eric LeGrand is going to walk onto that field again with us. That’s what we believe. We’ll see with the speed of which that happens.”

The LeGrand family released the following statement,

“We want to say thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, kind words, and well wishes. We appreciate every single thought. Eric is in good spirits and we are praying for a full recovery.”

This is just so sad. Football is a favorite pastime of many, but this reminds us of what a violent sport it really is. The players literally put their bodies on the line out there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Eric, and we wish him a full recovery.

Gossip Girl star, Pretty Reckless frontwoman and Material Girl spokesmodel Taylor Momsen is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of the Heavy Metal Music magazine Revolver. At only 17 years old, Taylor is clearly trying to make a statement by posing on the cover of Revolver as a pissed off gun-toting lingerie model:

Seems that even though she’s only 17 she’s already a veteran when it comes to courting controversy. Taylor Momsen often takes heat for her overtly sexy look and choice of clothing and her latest magazine cover will do nothing to quieten the critics. The Gossip Girl actress poses, holding a rifle and a hand gun, with her usual thick black eye make-up and with her over-bleached blonde hair cascading around her shoulders, clad in lace topped black stockings and suspenders and barely there lingerie. Topping off her entirely age-inappropriate ensemble the teenager teeters on some sky-high stripper style perspex and patent heels. Momsen glares at the camera with her regular contrived bored teenager sneer, with the rifle slung over her shoulder and handgun pointing to the floor. The star loves to play-up her ‘dangerous’ ‘edgy’ image, admitting during interviews to everything from owning a vibrator to carrying a knife – apparently she ‘relaxes by opening and closing a switchblade’. And she gives little thought to the parents worried that she could be a negative influence on impressionable teenage daughters. ‘To be honest, I don’t fucking care,’ she said in an interview earlier this year. ‘I didn’t get into this to be a role model. So I’m sorry if I’m influencing your kids in a way that you don’t like, but I can’t be responsible for their actions. I don’t care.’

Oh, Taylor … you are such a bad ass. Well, actually, not really. Acting out in this way, giving everyone a shitty attitude, trying to push the envelope stylistically and pretending not to care about anything is SO tired. First, it’s been done a million times before and been done better. Second, the I Don’t Care but Look At Me anyway attitude has been under the ownership of hipsters for years now … it’s neither interesting or controversial to me. The more I see from Taylor Momsen, the more her immaturity shows thru. She absolutely comes across like a spoiled brat with too much freedom desperately trying to get attention by pretending not to want it but screaming inside LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I mean, she’s young. Hopefully she’ll grow out of this phase and mature a bit but I think she’ll be trying to pull this silliness for a while yet. Am I shocked by the guns and lingerie? Not at all. She merely looks silly to me. What do y’all think? Is Taylor Momsen pushing the envelope here?

‘Dancing With The Stars’ is done with Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino after his lackluster performance this week. Oh, and did we mention he actually had a little pout-fest in the parking lot after getting chewed by the judges? Check out the video here, and see some photos below.

It looks like it’s back to dodging grenades for the most flamboyant Jersey Shore star. His brief stint on DWTS is over after he butchered last night’s tango routine with partner Karina Smirnoff.

According to reports, he took it much the same way he does rejection from a girl—with complete bewilderment. Us Magazine claims the reality star was ‘sulking’ in the parking lot after having his footwork called a ‘terrible mess’ by judge Bruno Tonioli.

Even Carrie Ann Inaba called the debacle a ‘rough ride.’

After Monday’s episode of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ The Situation apparently felt the judges were unfair. I mean, he even got rid of his patented greasy hair-do:

“I don’t know what their deal was. I really don’t know…I was upset. I actually stormed off upset because I tried so hard. I really did. I changed my haircut, I don’t know.”

You don’t mess with the ‘do.

One bone of contention for the MTV star was that he and Karina managed some difficult lifts—and didn’t even get any credit. He said:

“I knew those lifts were extremely hard. I tried my best, and if they didn’t see it and wanted to be negative, so be it.”

Okay, we know Mike is an ego-maniac, so let’s hear it from the professional herself. His partner Karina seemed to take the criticism in stride:

“…I think we can take it as a compliment. They wanted to see more, and we appreciate their faith in us…”

'Inception' Star Tom Hardy To Reteam With Christopher Nolan For 'Batman 3'

Cast members Fox, Lea Thompson (Marty's mom Lorraine) and Elizabeth Shue (Marty's girlfriend Jennifer... from "Back to the Future: Part II" and "Part III," but not the original) will gather on stage to celebrate the original film's 25th anniversary.

The new teaser is basically a shot-for-shot remake of the film's original 1985 trailer... but with one very big difference at the end... which you can check out for yourself.

Luckily the "Back to the Future" Trilogy 25th Anniversary collection is traveling onto Blu-ray and DVD October 26. Until then, cross your fingers that Crispin Glover's George McFly, Christopher Lloyd's Doc Brown and Tom Wilson's Biff Tanen show up for the Scream Awards. A reunion without those guys might make us want to make like a tree and get the hell outta there.

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas! Holiday albums will start to come out and Mariah Carey announces Christmas music will be released by her as well this year. Her ’94 CD was a hit, so the bar is set high. To get more details, with photos and videos of her songs, keep reading below.

This past weekend, while she celebrated her husband Nick Cannon’s 30th birthday, the song list was released. “Oh Santa” may be the new hit, and is available as a digital single today (Oct. 12th). Will this be the new song we get stuck in our head this season?

Her last album with the hit “All I Want for Christmas is You” became an instant classic. In August Mariah Carey announced Christmas music plans, including what would be the single. The finished product will be on sale November 2nd and I can imagine it will fly off the shelves.

She is going to do a new version of her old holiday favorite, and of course there is the new single. Other tunes we can celebrate with include “The First Noel” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” You can check out a photo of the cover here, with more details on the CD as well.

Other than working on this project, the music star has been in the news with pregnancy rumors surrounding her. All we keep hearing is that the couple wants to be parents, but they will not confirm or deny the story. Maybe they have more to celebrate this season? We will have to wait and see.

As for her music, I will definitely be checking this one out as her other holiday song is still my favorite to hear every year. I couldn’t picture Christmas without it. So it’s little wonder that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had to share child care, with Pitt looking after twins Vivienne and Knox in Boston, and Jolie taking care of the couple’s other children in Budapest.

But today, it seemed the family would be reunited with Pitt arriving at Budapest airport with the two-year-old twins in tow.

He had no problem carrying the toddlers who were both wearing thick winter hats to guard against the cold weather.

Pitt wore a flat black cap, black jacket and sunglasses as he took the twins to a waiting car en route to Jolie’s rented ten room mansion in the Hungarian capital.

Jolie has been staying in the plush pad with Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, five and four-year-old Shiloh as she directs her first dramatic feature film – a Bosnian war love story.

Pitt, meanwhile, is taking a break from filming dramatic movie Moneyball in Boston.

Jolie is said to have enrolled Maddox and his brother Pax in a school in the city.

‘She has enlisted her children into (an) elite French-American school that they will attend from next week on,’ a source told People about the star’s two older boys.

‘The school has a kindergarten, too, where Zahara and Shiloh will attend,’ the source added.

I’m hearing that there is nothing legal about this split … no papers have been filed, no lawyers are involved … there is just trouble in paradise and Xtina and Jordy have decided to spend some time apart to try and see if they can work out their personal problems. I suppose we won’t be hearing anything new officially until either A.) the couple decides to get back together or B.) they decide to formally end their marriage. OY! I guess what they say is true, breaking up is hard to do.

This past Thursday Bravo aired the first season finale of The Real Housewives of DC which focused pretty exclusively on the White House Party Crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi. That ep alone contained all of the real drama that was pretty much missing from the entire season. Next Thursday, Bravo will air part 1 of 2-part reunion special that will pit the ladies (and gentlemen) of The Real Housewives of DC against one another to rehash all of the grievances that came out this season:

Today we get to check out a few sneak peeks of the 2-part reunion special which will give us a taste of what to expect. In all honesty, the DC Housewives are the boringest of the bunch … nothing at all really happened and even when it came time to showcase the White House party crashing, everything we saw was after the fact. The juiciest stuff we saw was rebroadcast footage from C-SPAN of the Salahi‘s appearance before a Congressional committee investigating their party crashing. I’m so grossed out by the Salahis who, to me, seem like a grown-up and just as sad incarnation of Speidi. While their annoying behavior was minorly entertaining for a minute, I’m so not interested in watching them scramble for fame should they be asked back for a second season of The Real Housewives of DC. I must admit, tho, that I am looking forward to seeing the exchange between all the DC folk in this reunion special. The Drama is gonna hit the fan … I hope it’s worth paying attention to.

The ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ star – who was diagnosed with a tumour in his throat in August – is currently undergoing eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, and will undergo his final session this week.

His recovery is then expected to take a further six weeks, with the Oscar-winning actor then to be subjected to periodic check-ups.

Allen Burry, his publicist, told People: “No further treatments are scheduled after this week. He’s really happy about it ending. He was determined not to have a feeding tube, and he didn’t have to have one.”

Although the 66-year-old actor is expected to make a full recovery from the illness, he may not make anymore films.

Instead, Michael reportedly wants to spend as much time with his family, wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and their two children, Dylan, 10, and Carys, seven, as he can.

A friend explained to The Sun newspaper: “This is a man in the middle of a gigantic fight, and he wants to conserve his energy and resources. If he beats this, he intends to focus on spending time with his family. He looks like he has aged 10 years in weeks.”

Michael also has a 31-year-old son Cameron – who is currently serving a five-year jail sentence after pleading guilty to dealing methamphetamine and cocaine – with his ex-wife Diandra Luker.
